Web Tracking & E-mail Status Notification
ELITeXPO's automated shipment tracking status e-mail notification system is proving very popular with our clients. If you haven't tried it yet, here is how it works.

You can be e-mailed directly by the server that houses ELITeXPO's shipment data. It can be set to notify you about one specific shipment or all of your shipments. You can also choose to be notified of every status change from pick up through delivery or you can choose to receive a single notification that has the name, date, and time the shipment delivered.

This feature can be activated by a request to your personal account executive. The status messages sent are in HTML format so they can be viewed easily. However, your e-mail client must be set up to accept messages of this type. (On-line web tracking is available for those who can not receive the e-mail notifications or for anyone who chooses to enjoy this feature.)

The following status messages can be sent:
   PDS     Pick-Up dispatched for today
   PKD     Freight confirmed picked up
   FIT      Freight In Transit
  FAD     Freight At Destination Airport Terminal
   OFD    Out for delivery
   POD    Proof of Delivery information, name/date/time received by consignee

   TRADESHOW TIP
1) Acquire a "Straight Bill of Lading" (Material Handling Agreement) 
This is obtained from the show's General Contractor at their service desk.
2) Assign ELITeXPO as Your Carrier
In the Carrier section of the Contractors Bill of Lading you Must note ELITeXPO as your carrier. You can do this by applying one of your XPOTAG labels.
3) Affix the ELITeXPO Shipping Labels
Place at least one label on each box. Leave all pieces in your booth.
4) Return the Bill of Lading
When the shipment is packed and ready, complete the bill of lading and return the bill of lading to the Show's General Contractor's service desk.
 

  SHIPPING TERM
Official Carrier

Carrier designated by the show manager or general contractor to be on-site for the inbound and outbound shipments of a show. Use of these carriers is recommended but not required. Medium to large shows may have one van line, one common carrier and one air freight carrier designated for the show.
